Note: We do not collect or store credit card or payment details. All payments are processed securely by Apple through In-App Purchases.

Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to operate our app:

• Supabase - authentication, database management, email confirmation, and limited usage analytics (such as login activity tracking)
• Google Gemini API - AI study plan generation
• Google AdMob - advertisement services
• Apple App Store / In-App Purchases - subscription and payment processing

These third-party services may collect information in accordance with their own privacy policies.

We share user data with third-party services only to the extent necessary to provide core app functionality (such as authentication, AI plan generation, analytics, and advertising). We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties.

AI Services (Google Gemini API)

Karınca: Akıllı YKS Planlayıcı uses Google's Gemini API to generate personalized study plans.

When a user creates a study plan, the following information may be transmitted securely to our server and then to Google Gemini API for processing:

• Grade level
• Target score or ranking
• Daily study duration
• Field of study
• Study preferences
• Subject level mapping
• Weak topics
• Selected books (course, publisher, name)

The user's internal user ID is transmitted to our secure server solely for rate-limiting and abuse prevention purposes. The user ID is not included in the AI prompt sent to Google Gemini API.

We do not transmit email addresses, passwords, or payment information to the AI service.

The AI request is processed using structured system instructions and user prompts. Only the necessary academic planning data is sent to generate the requested study plan.

Only the minimum necessary data required to generate the requested study plan is transmitted.

We do not store the full AI prompt content in our logs. Our server stores only limited technical logs (user_id, plan_type, success status, and error message) for security and service monitoring purposes.

AI responses are returned in structured JSON format and converted into study tasks within the app. Generated plans are stored locally on the user's device and in our Supabase database to provide cross-device access.

AI features are optional. Before generating a study plan, users are informed that their academic profile data will be processed by Google Gemini API and must explicitly consent.

Google processes data in accordance with its own privacy and security standards.

We do not sell user data to third parties.

Advertising

Advertisements in Karınca: Akıllı YKS Planlayıcı are provided by Google AdMob.

AdMob may use advertising identifiers (such as IDFA) to provide personalized advertisements.

In accordance with Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework, users are asked for permission before advertising identifiers are accessed.

If the user denies permission, only non-personalized advertisements are shown.

Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Data Retention

We retain user account data and generated study plans for as long as the account remains active.

Users may request account deletion at any time, which permanently removes associated personal data from our systems, except where retention is required by law.

API usage logs contain limited technical metadata and are retained only for operational security purposes.

Children's Privacy

Our app is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
